gosh .. today i'm so into retro ... suddenly i'm thinking bout GHOSTBUSTER .. i love the cartoon & song and my dad did bring us (me and my siblings) to watch the movie too.
and also cartoons .. like
My Little Pony (hahaha..girlish);
ThunderCats (i even watched the episode which tells the history of how this young small lion become big size!);
Transformers (i love this one and remembered how much i wanted to have that toy .. the main character of this cartoon .. can't remember its name .. but i know it's a truck vehicle before it transforms into a robot-lah);
Skyhawks (i don't think alot is aware of this cartoon);
She-Ra, He-Man, Batman & Robin;
Mickey Mouse (how blur pluto can be .. hehhehe);
Duck Tales (it's about the rich uncle duck with 3 nephews namely Huey, .. can't remembered the other 2 name...i think it sounds like Dewey & Lewey);
Bugs Bunny ("What's up doc!" is the famous line of this bunny);
Smurfs (the small blue creature with different capability);
Care Bear (oh .. i love watching how they use their power .. hehehe .. by stucking out their stomach!! .. and each bear has different power .. like, water, ice, sun, etc);
Captain Planet (5 kids from different region of this world with 5 different power which symbolised our planet i.e. water, wind, fire);
and another cartoon where they are 5 look-like-lion machine which are from 5 different place (one symbolise the earth, one symbolise the water etc) then combine, they are a 1 big gigantic robot man!!;
and, another girlish cartoon... it's in the music industry scene where there are 3 gals singing and their enemy name is Mystique (a group of 3/4 gals who also sing) and i can't remember the whole idea of the cartoon but i can only remember the 3 good gals have power and the power is from 1 main lady (who usually appear in public as hologram);
and, that 2 small animal (i think is beaver) with Donald Duck where this 2 animal always steal Donald's apple from its farm (hehehe .. silly cartoon);
and MASK (not Jim Carrey show!!...it's a cartoon existed way before JimCarrey mask movie), it's about how car turn into machines (not like transformers) coz this car needs to have a driver .. oh, my bro has this cartoon toy ... and, i think we do have 1 set of the cartoon too .. where we turn the decent petrol station into a headquarter .. hehe;
Slamdunk!! ... oh, like to read and watch this cartoon .. especially when they displayed their capability during the game;
i also used to stay up late just to watch Love Boat and Golden Girls (these 2 shows, normally is around 11pm til midnite) .. hehehe .. however, i dun really like watchin Dallas. I also enjoy watching Knight Riders, Bionic woman (i think they named the show as 6million dollar man), Airwolf .. shows bout this super helicopter, McGuyver (oohhh, i love when he turns some junk into some useful thing) and this guy later was in another show..dunno its name liow .. bout human goin back to other dimension/planet/dunno what's the appropriate term for this thru a big circle thing that looks like a gigantic bolt, ... can't remembered much and didn't get to watch a lot of this show coz normally they are screened during nite time and that's when my parents is around and i have to study & do homework!! Moreover, i'm staying with my uncles too (that time when i were young), they too have their own favourite shows (most of the time, we watch video tape-lah)
oh .. i'm very fortunate that my dad bought a walkman for me last time, thus i get to listen to numbers of song (now considered as retro) ... and, every morning on the way to school, dad sure listen to radio and there'll be english songs on air. That's how i'm familiar with the "then" songs. Oh, my dad love bee-gees. i think i stil remember Yasmin Yusoff famous morning line (can't recall was it during my primary school/secondary) .. "Good morning morning morning morning morning morning" (dunno how many times of morning!!)
actually, personally i believe that watching cartoon and tv is not bad .. i learn my english from there .. and also from listening to songs (get to learn some proverbs from there and used it in my essay).. my english used to be very good ... hehehe .. totally different like now (need my sis to help me write a cheque coz i spell the 8 wrongly!! i spelt it "eigth" instead of "eight"!!)..
and .. my yahoo status .. i wrote "Thunder thunder thunder cats" .. ahahah .. and it starts raining and thunder-ing later ... ahahha .. so coincident ... shld have written (i think it's from ABBA) .. money money money (i think, i'm not mistaken it's from them-lah) ... hahaha
