street smart vs book smart

i was watching TV when i saw this advertisement ... that gal who scored 17As for SPM last year (i think the so-called genius student) ... well, she's in the pencil advertisement ... hmmm, what are they trying to portray here?? the pencil helped this gal to score so high??!! is she being asked by her parents to do this advertisement to earn that money??? anyway ... i must said, i'm quite envy this gal for being such a genius but then, think in another way, ... well,(1) she's quite "kiasu" for taking so many exams & trying to score more 'A's than others (in other way, can say that she's capable to achieve her objectives) . (2) she's indecisive because she needs to take so many subjects in order to know what she really want to do in future (however, can say that she has the advantages of having lots of choices) . Hmmmm .. is there any conspiracy-ar?? We are living in this country where most of the things is "berat-sebelah" to the "majority". Though there are registration number to represent us during exams, database can reveal the details of this registration number owner. hmmmm .. i can't really go straight to my point here coz takut ISA (is it ISA who is in charge of this?) will lock me for talking bout sensitive issue here.

back to the above title .... the Apprentice will be showing this competition between a group of ppl who has lots of certification fighting against the group of ppl who already "cari makan" on the street. i bet they will somehow choose the person from book smart team to win coz they can't send the message to public that education is less important. There will be a preview this Sunday ... can't wait to watch it (forgotten the showing time liow).
